Acoustic Station
Acoustic Station is an acoustic, singer/songwriter ensemble led by Melanie and Paul Shaw. Paul and Melanie have shared a love of music since they were undergraduates in the 1990s. Today, they share their folk-influenced sounds with lovers of music across the southeast.
Melanie Shaw
Melanie studied voice performance in college and taught music in elementary schools before moving into online higher education. She draws inspiration from rock, pop, and folk vocal-driven songs.
Paul Shaw
Paul has been making music for over four decades. He is an accomplished drummer, guitar player, and songwriter. Jazz was his first musical love and his playing is heavily influenced by Townes Van Zandt and Nick Drake.
